Beautiful sandy beaches, clear blue waters, rugged coastlines, and lush green terraced rice fields provide the exquisite backdrop, while the friendly, gracious, and warm Balinese hospitality, and spiritual nature of the islands, puts all cares at ease. Begin with a luxurious stay at one of Bali’s famous beach resorts. Jump into the pool to cool down, savor a tropical drink, indulge yourself with a treatment at the spa, stroll along the beach, dine under the stars, or take advantage of the many activities available. Away from the beach, in the midst of rice paddies and tranquil rivers, experience the serenity of Ubud; famous for arts and crafts and the many galleries and workshops around town. Leaving Bali we fly to central Java, and the city of Yogyakarta. Known for its fine classical Javanese arts, it is also gateway to the amazing temple complexes of Prambanan and Borodudur.
Private tour itinerary

Day 1: Bali (beach). Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport and transfer by sedan to your hotel.
Day 2: Bali (beach). Enjoy a leisurely start to the day with the morning free to relax at your resort. In the afternoon depart for a short ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula. The area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequaled by any other regions of the island. The beautiful-yet-wild beaches here are heaven for surfers. In the corner of the peninsula, spectacularly perched on a sheer cliff high above the Indian Ocean, is the highly venerated Uluwatu Temple. A Kecak Dance, with the majestic temple and sunset as its backdrop, will highlight the visit. Afterwards dine on a delicious seafood dinner on the beach. (breakfast, dinner).
Day 3: Bali (beach). The day is free to enjoy the facilities of your resort. Relax by the poolside, walk on the beach, visit the spa for a traditional Balinese massage, or head to Kuta for shopping, dining, and entertainment. (breakfast).
Day 4: Bali (Ubud). Embark on a full-day sightseeing program focusing on the insights of Bali and featuring its natural, cultural, and artistic aspects. Begin at the village of Batubulan for a performance of a Barong and Keris Dance, which depicts the story of the eternal battle between good and evil. Visit the artisan villages of Celuk, Mas, and Ubud, known as the center of Balinese gold and silver jewelry industry, wood carvings, and art paintings respectively. Afterwards drive through rural villages and terraced rice fields to the 17th century holy spring Gunung Kawi Temple at Sebatu. Finish the day at the mountain village of Kintamani with its cool breeze and breathtaking vista of the still-active Mount Batur and its crater-lake. Pay a visit to the traditional Balinese village of Penglipuran before arriving at your hotel in Ubud. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 5: Bali (Ubud). The day is free to explore Ubud. Situated amongst terraced rice fields, a feeling of peace and well-being permeates the town, well renowned for its cultural richness and famous artisans. (breakfast).
Day 6: Yogyakarta. Fly to Yogyakarta. Upon arrival explore one of Java’s most interesting and beautiful Hindu temples, Prambanan. The temple compound contains 224 temples in its entirety. The inner square features three temples dedicated to the Hindu divinities Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, with three other temples dedicated to the animals that serve them. (breakfast).
Day 7: Yogyakarta. Discover the history and majesty of Borobudur Temple. Built in the 8th century, this massive stupa is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Dating back 300 years before Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, the circular top terraces are decorated with 72 openwork stupas each containing a statue of Buddha. Also visit Candirejo Village, a traditional Javanese village located nearby. (breakfast).
Day 8: Depart Yogyakarta. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (breakfast).
