Explore Thailand's tropical south and experience some of the best beaches in the world. This itinerary is ideal for a honeymoon trip, anniversary, or simply a fantastic getaway. The adventure begins in Bangkok, Thailand's capital city known for it's glittering golden temples, delectable Thai cuisine, cruises on the Chao Phraya River, shopping galore, and vibrant nightlife. After two nights fly south to Krabi and continue by sea to Koh Lanta, home to an ancient Sea Gypsy race, it is an island of magical sunsets, white sandy beaches, and verdant jungle. Relax in style at the 5-star luxury Pimalai resort. Next up is Khao Lak, located in Phang Nga province approximately 60km north of Phuket. Here you will check into The Sarojin, your luxury resort for the next three nights. During your stay embark on a full day Sea Canoe adventure to explore the brilliant network of crystalline limestone caves, and enjoy swimming, sun-bathing on the beach, or trying your hand at canoeing yourself. Back at The Sarojin perhaps visit Khao Sok National Park for some elephant-riding, take a half-day Thai cooking class with chef by a jungle waterfall, or choose to have a romantic private dinner on the beach. The limit is your imagination. Finally head to Phi Phi Island where you will stay at the deluxe Zeavola Resort & Spa for three nights. Day 2: Bangkok. Full-day private tour of Bangkok. Visit the Royal Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and Wat Po, with it's magnificent Reclining Buddha. In the afternoon ride a long tail boat on the Chao Phraya "River of Kings" through quiet klongs (canals) and stop at Wat Arun, the "Temple of Dawn." (breakfast, lunch).
Day 3: Koh Lanta. Fly to Krabi in Thailand's south. Meeting upon arrival and transfer to the Banhuahin pier for your boat to Lanta Island. Check-in at the deluxe Pimalai Resort & Spa. (breakfast).
Days 4-5: Koh Lanta. Two free days to unwind and enjoy the facilities of your resort. Day 7: Khao Lak. A full-day sea canoe adventure begins by cruiser boat from Laem Sai Pier. Upon arrival explore sea caves and lagoons by special "sea-canoes." Discover a unique and hidden world as your sturdy canoes are guided through a network of brilliant crystalline limestone caves to reveal the mysterious "hongs" (rooms) that lie within. The sea-caves are only accessible during low tide. Afterwards enjoy a Thai buffet lunch back on board the cruiser, and in the afternoon swimming, sun-bathing, or canoeing. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 8: Khao Lak. A free day to relax and enjoy the facilities of your resort. For a more active day, The Sarojin offers several excellent excursions, including a full-day Elephant and Jungle Canoe Safari with gourmet safari style lunch at Khao Sok National Park, and a half-day Thai Cooking Class with chef by Jungle Waterfall. Day 2: Bangkok. Full-day private tour of Bangkok. Morning visits to see the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Po and it's magnificent Reclining Buddha, and Wat Trimitr, or "Temple of the Golden Buddha" located in Bangkok's thriving Chinatown district. After lunch visit the lovely teak Jim Thompson House, one of the best preserved examples of a traditional Thai structure in Bangkok. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 3: Bangkok. Depart for Ratchaburi Province to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The Floating Market is an ideal place to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits and vegetables, traditional Thai houses, and the way the locals use boats in their everyday lives. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 4: Chiang Mai. Fly north to Chiang Mai, gateway to renowned mountain hilltribes and artisan villages of Thailand. Upon arrival enjoy a welcome lunch of Thai cuisine. Afternoon a scenic drive through the most historic areas of Chiang Mai, with visits to the mountain temple Doi Suthep, and sacred temple Wat Suan Dok. Afterwards check-in to the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Dhara Devi. The resort's serene natural landscapes and beautiful Lanna-style buildings and rooms offer one of Asia's most lovely honeymoon settings.
Day 5: Chiang Mai. A full-day excursion to the verdant northwest borderlands. Travel into the teak forest and witness an exhibition of elephants displaying their forestry skills. Visit Wiang Pa Pao hot springs, Akha and Yao hilltribe villages in Mae Chan, and Chiang Saen, an ancient city opposite Laos on the banks of the Mekong River. Day 2: Jimbaran Bay. Enjoy a leisurely start to the day with the morning free to relax at your resort. In the afternoon depart for a short ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula. The area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequaled by any other regions of the island. The beautiful-yet-wild beaches here are heaven for surfers. In the corner of the peninsula, spectacularly perched on a sheer cliff high above the Indian Ocean, is the highly venerated Uluwatu Temple. A Kecak Dance, with the majestic temple and sunset as its backdrop, will highlight the visit. (breakfast).
Day 3: Jimbaran Bay. The day is free to enjoy the facilities of your resort. Relax by the poolside, walk on the beach, visit the spa for a traditional Balinese massage, or head to Kuta for shopping, dining, and entertainment. (breakfast).
Day 4: Jimbaran Bay. Another free day in paradise, or avail yourself of some of the activities available. The resort features a cooking school, and offers a fun cooking class each morning. Depending on the day, you can try your hand at making Balinese cuisine, Asian cuisine, or healthy spa cuisine, followed by lunch. Most mornings an optional visit to the local market is available. Day 6: Sayan, Ubud. The day is free to explore Ubud. Situated amongst terraced rice fields, a feeling of peace and well-being permeates the town, well renowned for its cultural richness and famous artisans. (breakfast).
Day 7: Sayan, Ubud. The resort features a two-level swimming pool, placed within the sound of the Ayung Rier, and is the perfect place to relax as well as enjoy the breathtaking views of the river. A full service fitness service is available, with daily trekking and cycling offered. One of India’s great destinations, Kerala is a land of backwaters, fragrant spices, coconut groves, lush mangroves, and golden sandy beaches. We begin in Kochi (formerly Cochin); known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea” due to its natural harbor being one of the finest. The fabric of this eclectic town is reflected in the colorful history of international traders who have left their impression over the centuries. Munnar, once a sleepy little hamlet, has developed into one of southern India's most important centers for the cultivation of tea, coffee, and spices. Encircled by lush wooded hills, it has crystal clear streams, waterfalls, and great wildlife viewing. The aroma of spice fills the air as you wind your way through carpets of tea bushes, tall rubber trees, coffee gardens, cardamom and pepper to Periyar. The game reserve here features unique wildlife and can be explored by motor launch. The backwaters of Kumarakom are a paradise of mangrove forests, paddy fields, and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals. A highlight of any visit to Kerala is a cruise and overnight stay on a premium houseboat. Cruise to Alleppey as you navigate the backwaters, see local life unfold along the banks, and enjoy delicious meals served onboard. We finish the program in Kovalam, the tropical beach destination that is a favorite year-round spot for swimming, and has white sandy beaches, coconut trees, and coral reefs.
Day 1: Delhi. Arrive at Delhi's Indira Ganghi International Airport and transfer by sedan to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi. A half-day tour explores Old and new Delhi. Start the day with a cycle rickshaw ride, followed by a visit to Red Fort, the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. Across from the fort's main gate is Chandni Chowk, the perpetually congested avenue filled with twisting lanes, small streets, and crowded bazaars. If you peer through a portico you may see a man getting shaved, silver being weighed, or any other conceivable form of intense commerce. Rounding out the morning are visits to Raj Ghat, memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi; and Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. In New Delhi visit two monuments from Delhi's past; Qutab Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret built from red sandstone, and Humayun's Tomb, built by Emperor Humayun's wife, it is an example of early Mughal architecture. From here drive along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, passing the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. (breakfast).
Day 3: Ananda. Rise early this morning to catch your train to Haridwar, and then continue by road to Ananda. Nestled in the Himalayas, Ananda was once residence of the Maharaja of Tehri-Garhwal, and today is a dedicated spa resort with innovative ways to restore and rejuvenate energies.
Days 4-9: Ananda. With the foothills of the Himalayas providing a tranquil setting, the next six days are to enjoy the wellness programs, treatments, and activities of the resort. (breakfast).
Day 10: Delhi. After a free morning drive to Haridwar station for your return train to Delhi. (breakfast).

This program focuses on India's colorful state of Rajasthan. Delhi stands as the capital of modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the old and new India, the ancient and the modern. The British designed New Delhi is a city of wide boulevards, impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens; while Old Delhi, an ancient walled city with impressive Red Fort and bustling Chandni Chowk market, is a delight to explore and be amazed by. Agra was the capital of the grand Mughal Empire. During this period the city became a leading center of art, science, commerce and culture. Of course, one of India's most beautiful and iconic sights is found here, the magnificent Taj Mahal. Jaipur, known as the "Pink City," is the capital of the colorful state of Rajasthan. Everywhere in the "abode of rajahs" you will see the monuments of its Rajput rulers. Jodhpur, is referred to as the "The Blue City" due to the large number of blue-color homes in the old city, and is the oldest of Rajputana's great cities. With a large number of palaces, forts, and temples, it was home to the Rathore rulers, and is gateway to the Great Indian Thar Desert. Known as the "City of Lakes," Udaipur is located in the southwest of Rajasthan. With temples seemingly around every corner, this romantic city is highlighted by the City Palace, dreamy Lake Pichola, and the floating Lake Palace where parts of the James Bond movie Octopussy were filmed. Our last stop is Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay, it is the fastest moving and most industrialized city in India. It is a heady mix of shopping malls, fashion, Bollywood, luxury hotels, and world-class restaurants.
Day 1: Delhi. Arrive at Delhi's Indira Ganghi International Airport and transfer by sedan to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi. This morning explore the ancient walled city of Old Delhi. Start the day with a cycle rickshaw ride, followed by a visit to Red Fort, the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. Day 3: Delhi. Embark on a morning touring program of New Delhi. Day 4: Agra. Drive (approx. 4.5 hours) through the Indian countryside to Agra this morning. In the afternoon tour Agra Fort, India's most important Fort, and home to many great Mughal emperors. Afterwards continue for a sunset visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal, the monument to love that was built by Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved queen. Day 5: Jaipur. Depart by road for Jaipur, known as the "Pink City," it is the capital of the colorful state of Rajasthan. The drive takes approximately five hours. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. It's ruins are still in fine condition, and it not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. (breakfast, dinner).
Day 6: Jaipur. A full-day begins with a visit Amber Fort, a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Perched on a hillside, the fort can be reached by jeep, and when available by elephant-back. After touring, dine like royalty on a delicious lunch at Amber Fort's 1135 AD restaurant. Back in Jaipur this afternoon visit the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar observatory, and make a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the "Palace of Winds." We conclude the day with an Elephant Safari at Dera Amer. A sunset ride on elephant-back takes you through private jungle where you arrive to a grand welcome at the camp to dine on a barbecue dinner served alfresco under the stars. In the afternoon embark on an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an important Vietcong base during the war. Walk through the area and learn about the day-to-day life of the Vietcong, and even venture inside the tunnel if you choose. Afterwards return to Saigon. (breakfast).
Day 3: My Tho/Saigon. Travel to My Tho, located in the rich agricultural region of the Mekong Delta. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful temple recognized as a national historical and cultural relic. The pagoda features a lovely garden of ancient and ornamental trees, and also serves as a sanctuary for orphans and other needy children. Afterwards board a local boat to explore the Mekong River islands, stopping at a fruit orchard to enjoy fruit and tea, and some local music. There is time for a brief sampan ride through the tiny waterways that thread the island before returning to Saigon. (breakfast).
Day 4: Hanoi. Fly to Hanoi, capital city of Vietnam. Late afternoon see a performance of Water Puppets, a fantastic art form where puppets appear to "dance on water." (breakfast).
Day 5: Hanoi. Full-day private tour of Hanoi city. Sights include the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, Hoan Kiem Lake, and view colonial landmarks such as the Opera House and St. Joseph's Cathedral. From the lake, explore the Old Quarter on foot. The network of narrow alleys and shophouses are also known as "The 36 Streets," each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there. In the afternoon visit one of Hanoi's famous museums, either the History Museum, including exhibits spanning the entirety of Vietnam's history, or the Museum of Ethnology which brings to life the astonishing ethnic diversity in Vietnam. Day 6: Halong Bay/Hanoi. Depart Hanoi in the morning for a drive to scenic Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the pier at midday begin a cruise aboard a traditional wooden junk boat, passing craggy limestone cliffs, and stopping at different islands to explore some of the areas many caves. Day 7: Luang Prabang. Fly to Luang Prabang, the enchanting Laotian town filled with historic temples and colonial-style buildings. (breakfast).
Day 8: Luang Prabang. Sightseeing this morning focuses on sights around town. In the morning see the bustle and activity of a local market, then continue to visit some of Luang Prabang's most important temples; Wat Visoun, the oldest operating temple in Luang Prabang with a collection of gilded wooden Buddhas from the 15th and 16th centuries, Wat Aham, known for it's two large banyan trees, and Wat Xieng Thong, the crown jewel of all monasteries and temples in the city. Also visit the National Museum (Royal Palace), a turn-of-the century royal residence which has been preserved as it was when the royal family lived there; and Wat Mai, Luang Prabang's largest and perhaps most photographed temple due to it's rich decoration. In the afternoon embark on a boat excursion up the Mekong River to the steep limestone cliffs overlooking the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers, home to the Pak Ou Caves. These extraordinary caves are filled with Buddha images of every style and material imaginable. On the return journey stop at Ban Xang Hai Village, a local village famous for the production of lao lao, the local rice wine whisky. (breakfast).
Day 9: Luang Prabang. Travel by road to visit the local village of Ban Muang Khai. Continue by road to Kuang Si Waterfall, located in a perfect natural setting near Luang Prabang, this multi-tiered waterfall tumbles over limestone formations into a series of turquoise pools. There is a chance to swim in the clear water, or simply relax in the natural environment. Finish with a visit to Ban Tha Pene, a nearby Khmu village. (breakfast).

This tour explores scenic and fascinating Yunnan Province in Southwestern China, and offers a truly rewarding experience. Yunnan has a mild climate and pleasant temperatures year-round, and stretches from the Tibetan plateau in the north to the borders of Vietnam, Laos, and Burma in the south. It is rich in biodiversity, and home to the greatest number of ethnic minorities in all of China. Kunming, capital of Yunnnan Province, has a history that dates all the way back to 279 BC. A full-day excursion takes us to the Stone Forest; the multitude of karst formations jutting from the ground, and the unique shapes they form, give the appearance of a forest made of stone. We continue to Lijiang, where the beautifully preserved Old Town transports back you back in time. Here we find charming restaurants lining the banks of the canals, a sea of red lanterns illuminating the night, and narrow cobblestone streets that wind their way through town, with interesting shops and a new discovery around every corner. Touring in the area takes you to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, beautiful Black Dragon Pool, and a visit to a Naxi minority village. Next we head north to Zhongdian, located on the Tibetan Plateau, it was renamed Shangri-La in 2001. En Route visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, a place of scenic beauty and filled with legend, it is one of the world's deepest canyons. In Zhongdian visit the impressive Songzanlin Monastery, filled with treasures and backdropped by snowcapped mountains, it has been nicknamed "Little Potala Palace" because of it's traditional style. We finish the tour with three of China's most important cities. First Guilin, like Yunnan, another area of magnificent beauty, it's landscape a tapestry of karst mountains flanking the meandering Li River. In Xi'an we visit the amazing underground tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, guarded by an amazing army of terra cotta warriors, it is truly one of the world's most important archeological sites. Finally Beijing, the capital city, and political and cultural center of China. The treasures here include the incomparable Forbidden City, enormous Tian'anmen Square, the Summer Palace, and of course the Great Wall of China.

Visitors need to climb 272 steps to reach the entrance of the main cave, where Hindus have erected a sacred shrine devoted to Lord Muruga. Afterward visit Royal Selangor, the world's largest producer of pewter, where you will have an opportunity to see the craftsman at work. In the afternoon tour the city of Kuala Lumpur. Visits include the National Monument, Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Independence Square, the Selangor Club, and the King's Palace.
