Begin in Bangkok, Thailand's vibrant capital filled with world-class sights, bustling markets, chic boutiques, and culinary delights. Included is a romantic welcome dinner at the Vertigo Grill & Moon Bar, 61 stories high, this open-air rooftop lounge will take your breath away. During your stay in the capital explore Bangkok's most iconic and wonderful sights on a private tour, and journey outside the city to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Next fly to Chiang Mai, nicknamed "Rose of the North", is Thailand's most culturally significant northern city, and former capital of the Lanna Kingdom. The city is famous for it's beautiful scenery, famous handicrafts, and delicious northern cuisine. Your accommodations are at the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Devi, the luxury 5-star hotel and resort spread over 60 acres of natural landscapes in the heart of the city. Over the next several days you will explore the north with visits to a teak forest to see elephants at work, ride an elephant through the jungle, and embark on a full-day journey to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Burma meet. On your final day enjoy at Royal Thai massage at the Mandarin's Dheva Spa, and celebrate your northern experience with a romantic candlelight dinner at the resort.

Day 1: Bangkok. Arrive at Bangkok Airport where you are welcomed upon arrival and transferred by sedan to your deluxe hotel, The Peninsula Bangkok. This evening a welcome dinner at Vertigo Grill & Moon Bar located at the Banyan Tree Bangkok. Return to your hotel. (dinner).
Day 2: Bangkok. Full-day private tour of Bangkok. Morning visits to see the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Po and it's magnificent Reclining Buddha, and Wat Trimitr, or "Temple of the Golden Buddha" located in Bangkok's thriving Chinatown district. After lunch visit the lovely teak Jim Thompson House, one of the best preserved examples of a traditional Thai structure in Bangkok. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 3: Bangkok. Depart for Ratchaburi Province to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The Floating Market is an ideal place to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits and vegetables, traditional Thai houses, and the way the locals use boats in their everyday lives. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 4: Chiang Mai. Fly north to Chiang Mai, gateway to renowned mountain hilltribes and artisan villages of Thailand. Upon arrival enjoy a welcome lunch of Thai cuisine. Afternoon a scenic drive through the most historic areas of Chiang Mai, with visits to the mountain temple Doi Suthep, and sacred temple Wat Suan Dok. Afterwards check-in to the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Dhara Devi. The resort's serene natural landscapes and beautiful Lanna-style buildings and rooms offer one of Asia's most lovely honeymoon settings.
Day 5: Chiang Mai. A full-day excursion to the verdant northwest borderlands. Travel into the teak forest and witness an exhibition of elephants displaying their forestry skills. Take an elephant ride into the jungle (approximately 30 minutes), then sit down to a lunch of local specialties. Conclude with visits to Mae Sa waterfall and an orchid farm. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 6: Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai. Full-day tour to Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar (Burma) converge. The Northern Thailand roads cross over mountains and wind through picturesque valleys. Visit Wiang Pa Pao hot springs, Akha and Yao hilltribe villages in Mae Chan, and Chiang Saen, an ancient city opposite Laos on the banks of the Mekong River. After lunch proceed to Mae Sai, Thailand's northern-most trading town on the Thai-Burmese border. Return to Chiang Mai. (breakfast, lunch).
Day 7: Chiang Mai. A free day to explore Chiang Mai city, or relax at your resort. During the day enjoy a Royal Thai Massage at the resort's Dheva Spa. This evening a romantic dinner by candlelight at your hotel. (breakfast, dinner).
